I’m just not feeling today, really, but maybe that’s just the weather. It was below zero with the windchill last week, and it’s been in the 50s this week (so far). It’s supposed to snow and freeze some more, starting tonight. Sigh.
The good news that I got an email from Sephora the other day, letting me know that I had $15 in credit to spend with them (still). No idea what that’s from, as the last time I bought anything from Sephora was literally two years ago, but hey, who I am to turn that down? I finally picked up the perfume I’ve been lusting after for kind of a while, Coach Poppy.

Isn’t the bottle cute? I’ve been developing a thing for gold lately, and I’m a sucker for good packaging. Plus, it smells heavenly.

I am SO excited for fall. It’s one of my favorite seasons–between pumpkin scented and flavored things (had my first pumpkin spice latte of the season yesterday!), cooler weather, leaves changing, and sweater and boot weather, I find myself wishing for September-November for the rest of the year. Surprisingly, I’m not really in love with anything that I’ve seen for fall so far. Maybe I’ll find more later on, but for now, this is what I’m lusting after.

I won’t lie, I’ve actually already purchased the blazer, mocs, and polish set. I was just getting a head start, haha. I’ve wanted a similar blazer since being inspired by Kendi, so when AE offered 40% off and free shipping, I had to jump at it. The studs I’ve wanted for forever, since I can’t wear most earrings (basically only gold), so I figure that a classic pair is a must-have (and it’s better than not wearing earrings). And the polish kit (I didn’t purchase the kit that’s linked, but the prep, base, top coat, cleanser, several polish colors, and the light with my 20% off Ulta coupon) will hopefully be amazing. I loved my shellac manicure, and I get SO frustrated that my nail polish ALWAYS chips within the first twenty four hours. It doesn’t matter if it’s OPI, Essie, or NYC, nor do buffing or base/top coats (and this is the reason that I own less than ten bottles of nail polish).

Oh, and if you’re wondering about my spring wishlist, I ended up with both the eyeglasses and sunglasses, a similar striped top, and the sandals (in a different color). I missed the purple dress and cardigan, the floral dress I found in stores but I didn’t like the colors, the Sperrys/boots/necklace/clutch weren’t priorities.

I’m still here! School is really kicking my butt right now, plus I’m job hunting for a big girl gig, so my mind is super focused on Marketing projects (especially the one I have to figure out on my own after my partner dropped the class), my resume, my online classes, etc. At least it’s getting warmer so I’m not stuck inside doing this stuff, right?

I LOVE Spring. I always go back and forth between spring and fall as my favorite seasons, as I can never decide. Spring means flowers and thunderstorms and sandals (my favorite). I’m actually disappointed with what I’m finding in stores, but we don’t have a ton of cool stores around here anyway (this is also the reason that I typically shop online). I actually bought a bunch of stuff last year at the end of the season, like shorts and sandals (and a maxi dress), but it seems like I can’t find anything that I like when I look for everything else that I want (tops and dresses, mostly).
